On September 20, 2016, the Board of Supervisors approved a funding contribution to the US Geological Survey (USGS) Hydrologic Characterization and a Coupled Watershed and Groundwater-Flow Model of the Russian River Watershed in the amount of $100,000 over four years.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On September 20, 2016, the Board of Supervisors approved a funding contribution to the US Geological Survey Hydrologic Characterization and a Coupled Watershed and Groundwater-Flow Model of the Russian River Watershed in the amount of $100,000 over four years. On March 7, 2017, the Sonoma County Water Agency Board of Directors approved the USGS Agreement and Cooperative funding Agreement. The Cooperative Agreement includes funding from Sonoma County Water Agency, County of Mendocino, City of Ukiah, Upper Russian River Water Agency and the Russian River Flood Control and Water Conservation District.
