Summary of Request

Supervisors Brown and McCowen are requesting adoption of the Proclamation recognizing the Human Race in Mendocino County, May 6, 2017. The Human Race is a nationwide community fundraising event that benefits non-profit organizations. Locally, the Human Race is organized by the North Coast Opportunity Hands on Volunteer Network of Lake and Mendocino Counties. This year’s Human Race will feature a 5K walk and timed run through the neighborhoods of downtown Ukiah starting at the Alex Thomas Plaza. The public is invited to join the festivities.

Do not adopt the Proclamation.
