Conduct Public Workshop and provide direction to staff regarding a proposed Business License Ordinance and Zoning Regulations for the processing, manufacturing, testing, dispensing/retail and distribution of medical cannabis and adult use cannabis within the unincorporated areas of Mendocino County.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

At the Workshop Meeting of January 27, 2017, clarification and direction was given to staff to revise the draft Cannabis Facilities Ordinance Chapter 6.36 and the Medical and Adult Use Cannabis Facilities Zoning Ordinance Chapter 20.243.                     

 

Summary of Request

Please see the following attachments for Board review: staff memorandum outlining the proposed recommendations, draft Cannabis Facilities Ordinance Chapter 6.36 and draft Medical and Adult Use Cannabis Facilities Zoning Ordinance Chapter 20.243. Staff request that, following the presentation and testimony from the general public, the Board of Supervisors provide direction to staff on the proposed recommendations.
