Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

During the FY 16-17 budget process the Board of Supervisors approved funding for support of local fire agencies in Mendocino County.  This funding was from Proposition 172 - Public Safety Sales Tax and general fund dollars.

Summary of Referral

The County has finalized contracts with all local Fire Agencies with the assistance of the Mendocino County Association of Fire Districts (MCAFD).  The Auditor-Controller has processed all payments to local fire agencies and they should be in receipt of the allocated funds.

Attached is the funding template that all fire agencies utilized and a copy of the funding allocations that were recommended by the MCAFD and approved by the Board of Supervisors.  All fire agencies voted to accept the allocations with the exception of the Ukiah City Fire District.
