SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In April of 2016, the City of Ukiah (City), on behalf of the Russian River Watershed Association (RRWA) and its eleven member agencies, wrote and submitted a grant application in the amount of $500,000 to complete a SWRP for the entire watershed. The agencies included are:
* The City of Cloverdale
* The City of Cotati
* The City of Healdsburg
* The City of Rohnert Park
* The City of Sebastopol
* The City of Ukiah
* The County of Mendocino
* The County of Sonoma
* The Sonoma County Water Agency, and
* The Town of Windsor

The goal of a Stormwater Resource Plan (SWRP) is to identify projects that capture and re-use storm water runoff to provide multiple benefits, including environmental, flood control, groundwater recharge, and recreational opportunities. The grant agreement requires the participating government entities enter into a Memorandum of Understand with the City of Ukiah outlining the match contributions for the grant.
