On June 21, 2016, the Board approved a request by East Ukiah Street Merchant District for a recurring temporary road closure for the Annual July 4th Community Gathering on July 4th, from 6 A.M. to 8 P.M., on Ukiah Street, CR 407C, from Lansing Street, CR 500, to Howard Street, CR 407N, in the Village of Mendocino.
Summary of Request:
The Annual July 4th Community Gathering, sponsored by Frankie’s Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor, will be held on July 4, 2017, and will recur yearly on July 4th. This event will require a road closure of a portion of Ukiah Street from Lansing Street to Howard Street. This road closure will be from 5 A.M. to 8 P.M. (including set-up). Both lanes will be closed to public traffic. The applicant will provide the necessary signs and flagger(s) for traffic control.

Deny the recurring road closure of a portion of Ukiah Street, CR 407C, from Lansing Street, CR 500, to Howard Street, CR 407N, for the Annual July 4th Community Gathering from July 4th, at 5 A.M. to July 4th, at 8:00 P.M., sponsored by Frankie’s Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor.
