SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The County began contracting through an Administrative Services Organization (ASO) model in 2013 to provide specialty mental health services on behalf of Mendocino County as delineated in the Mental Health Plan (MHP) through the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). Since May 2013, Redwood Quality Management Company (RQMC) has been arranging specialty mental health services on behalf of Mendocino County children and youth 24 years and younger. After the resignation in March 2016 of the ASO contractor for adults age 25 and older, the Board of Supervisors approved a transition plan and contract with RQMC for adult specialty mental health services.
