PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board of Supervisors last amended Mendocino County Code Section 15.20.030 by Ordinance Number (No.) 319, adopted on March 1, 1950, and Ordinance No. 423, adopted on September 5, 1961. On March 7, 2017, the Board of Supervisors referred this matter to the Public Health, Safety and Resources Committee for review. On August 15, 2017 the Board of Supervisors introduced and waived reading of the Ordinance amendment.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
After referral from the Board of Supervisors, this matter was presented before the Public Health, Safety and Resources Committee on May 8, 2017, and again on July 10, 2017. Following review and discussion, the Committee directed staff to bring this matter back to the Board for discussion and possible action. Mendocino County Department of Transportation (MCDoT) has prepared a draft Ordinance for the Board's consideration.
