Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
By Resolution No. 16-042, (April 5, 2016) the Board of Supervisors authorized the DOT to advertise for bids and award DOT Contract No. 130077 for construction of the seismic retrofit of the Moore Street Bridge Replacement over the Russian River, on Moore Street, CR 229b, MP 0.45, and increase the Director of Transportation’s change order authority to 10% of the contract. By Resolution No. 17-008, (January 24, 2017) the Board accepted the Notice of Completion and release of construction contract for the Moore Street Bridge Seismic Retrofit.
Summary of Request:
DOT Agreement No. 170014 provides for vegetation replacement, erosion control measures, monitoring, and maintenance, for five years. Stantec and their sub-consultant, Sequoia Ecological Consulting, Inc., responded to the request for proposals and were rated most qualified to do the work. The negotiated “not-to-exceed” price is $ 133,359 with a contingency of $15,000 for additional tasks that may arise during the five years.
