Adopt Proclamation that recognizes Bryan Holland for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank in scouting. Bryan was honored at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor held on December 15, 2018 at the Potter Valley Methodist Church. Formally presenting a Proclamation adopted on August 21, 2018 to Jerry Robert Jackson in achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Approximately five percent of all Boy Scouts earn the Eagle Scout rank. In order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout a scout must demonstrate exceptional dedication, hard work, personal responsibility and leadership over a period of several years. Recognition by the Board of Supervisors of this achievement supports the hard work and accomplishments of the individual scout and also the positive leadership and character development aspects of scouting.
