Approve recommendation from the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen's Oversight Committee to add two additional MOPS teams using Measure B Services Tax Funds (in the amount of $514,600) for mental health preventative services to the outlying areas in Mendocino County and establishment of measurable metrics for evaluation every six months to monitor effectiveness of the program and make adjustments as needed.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
At the November 28, 2018 Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen's Oversight Committee meeting the Committee heard a presentation on the cooperative mental health outreach program entitled MOPS that the Health and Human Services Agency Behavioral Health and the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office coordinates. Information on what the MOPS teams provide to the communities of the county, who staffs the teams and the annual cost of the teams was presented by the committee's Member Miller, who is the County Behavioral Health Director and Chair Allman, the County Sheriff.
