PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Art in the Redwoods Festival has been held annually for many years and was last approved by the Board on August 1, 2018.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Pursuant to Mendocino County Code 6.16 approve the application for the Art in the Redwoods Festival sponsored by Gualala Arts, Inc., a non-profit organization, to be held August 17-18, 2019, and authorize the Tax Collector to issue and Outdoor Festival license.

The Art in the Redwoods Festival offers fine art exhibits, artist's booths, food vendors and entertainment including live music. The event will be held at the Gualala Redwoods Inc., property located at 46501 Old State Highway, Gualala, California. The number of attendees varies per day with the maximum attendees estimated at 1000 Saturday August 17, 2019.

The Tax Collector has compiled the information required to be submitted with the application to the Board for approval pursuant to section 6.16.040 of the Mendocino County Code.
