On July 16, 2019, an announcement was made during open session of the Board of Supervisors meeting regarding the intent to purchase property located at 8207 East Road, Redwood Valley (APN No. 163-140-14).

 

Summary of Request

On July 8, 2019 the “Mental Health Treatment Act” Citizen’s Oversight Committee approved an item recommending purchase of real property using Measure B funds for a Regional Health Training Facility/Mendocino County Sheriff’s Sub-station. The property is a .92 acre parcel that includes a 2,350 sq ft open space building, a large paved parking area and an 800 sq ft home with a garage. The property will be used as a location for a regional Training Center for law enforcement and mental health, and as a potential site for a Sheriff’s Sub-station. The Executive Office is seeking specific authority for the Purchasing Agent to take any further actions necessary to carry out the purchase of real property at 8207 East Road, Redwood Valley (APN No. 163-140-14).
