RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve retroactive amendment to BOS Agreement No. 16-044-A2 with GEO Reentry Services LLC (previously B.I. Incorporated d/b/a BI Correctional Services Inc.) in the amount of $360,000, for a total Agreement amount of $1,440,000, to provide day reporting services in Ukiah; modify the terms relating to the use of County facilities; extend the termination date from June 30, 2019 to June 30, 2020 (Effective July 1, 2019); authorize the Chief Probation Officer to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board approved and signed the current agreement on June 21, 2016 for the period of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, with an option to extend the term of the agreement three (3) times for a period of one (1) year per extension on the same terms and conditions. The Board approved the first of the amendments on August 15, 2017, extending the termination date from June 30, 2017 to June 30, 2018, and increasing the agreement by $360,000 for a total agreement amount of $720,000.
