Approve retroactive Agreement with Redwood Community Services, Inc. in the amount of $152,000 to provide an inland shelter and day center to qualified individuals in Mendocino County effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County currently contracts with Redwood Community Services, Inc. (RCS) to provide shelter services and related resources to inland clients, to address the needs of the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) General Assistance (GA) clients, and families and individuals in Mendocino County who are experiencing homelessness and need to be sheltered. RCS provides beds, meals, shower and laundry facilities, phone access, mail delivery, other amenities, outreach, Individualized Housing Plans, and case management to qualified individuals.
