Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
None
Summary of Request:
Our local fire departments are generally first on scene to a myriad of hazard types and provide year round protection to life, property and the environment. Our fire districts are severely underfunded and face ever growing unfunded mandates. Allocation of funds should be based on ensuring a reasonable base level of service throughout the county.
Alternative Action/Motion:
No alternate action.
