SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Consolidated Tribal Health Project (CTHP) is celebrating its 35th anniversary as an Indian Health Clinic serving the Native American communicates in Mendocino County. CTHP is a 501(c) 3 community health clinic founded in 1984 with the primary purpose of serving the health needs of the American Indian/Alaska Native population in Mendocino County, California via a Title V compact with Indian Health Service. The clinic is governed by a consortium of eight (8) federally recognized tribes including: the Cahto Tribe of the Laytonville Rancheria, the Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians, the Guidiville Rancheria of California, the Hopland Band of Pomo Indians, Pinoleville Pomo Nation, the Potter Valley Tribe, the Little River Band of Pomo Indians of the Redwood Valley Rancheria, and the Sherwood Valley Band of Pomo Indians. The CTHP is committed to healthy lifestyles and honoring traditional Native American values to maintain physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing of the community. CTHP is to be recognized and honored for serving the health needs of the American Indian/Alaska Native population in Mendocino County.
