Approve Agreement with American Guard Services, Inc. in the amount of $192,524.80 to provide security guard services at Health and Human Services Agency locations, effective October 4, 2019 through October 3, 2020; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), Special Investigations Unit (SIU) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Security Guard Services on April 1, 2019. As a result of the RFP, American Guard Services was the top ranked vendor for Security Guard Services and selected by SIU to contract with HHSA. American Guard Services has contracted with HHSA for the past two Fiscal Years for guard services, and will continue to do so through this new Agreement.
Under this new Agreement, American Guard Services will provide four (4) uniformed and supervised Security Guards for forty (40) hours per week at each of the following Mendocino County HHSA sites:
