SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County Library would like to participate in the High-Speed Broadband for California Public Libraries project to potentially join the California Research and Education Network (CalREN) which connects the vast majority of research, education institutions, and libraries in the state. The letters of agency allow the CENIC consortium, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to include the library as an Associate in this year's RFP to improve connectivity, and to allow participation in the California Teleconnect Fund program discounts run by the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC).
