SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On May 14, 2019, the Board of Supervisors reviewed the recommendations of the Cannabis Ad Hoc Committee and provided direction to staff to make certain changes to Chapters 10A.17 and 20.242.
Staff has prepared amendments to Chapters 10A.17 and 20.242, and corresponding review of the amendments pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act in the form of a proposed addendum to the previously adopted mitigated negative declaration. The proposed addendum and ordinance amendments were reviewed by the Planning Commission at its meetings on July 18, 2019, and August 15, 2019. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the addendum and ordinance amendments, with certain recommended modifications as provided in its resolution.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION/MOTION:
Do not adopt Ordinance.
