SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Health and Human Services Agency, Public Health, Community Wellness Unit, has applied for a 32-month grant in an amount up to $255,000, with potential for additional funding, from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to sustain the work of the SafeRx Mendocino Opioid Safety Coalition. Grant funds will be used to increase naloxone access, improve safe prescribing practices, increase access to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, and continue public education and a media outreach campaign.
