Adopt Resolution reaffirming the existence of Local Health Emergency related to the Mendocino Complex Fire as proclaimed by the Local Health Officer; and authorize Chair to sign same.

On July 28, 2018, the Local Health Officer issued a declaration of local health emergency due to hazardous material debris generated by the Mendocino Complex Fire. On July 31, 2018, the Board of Supervisors ratified the declaration. On August 7, 2018, August 21, 2018, September 11, 2018, October 2, 2018, November 6, 2018, December 4, 2018, December 18, 2018, January 8, 2019, February 5, 2019, February 26, 2019, March 26, 2019, April 23, 2019, May 21, 2019, June 18, 2019, July 16, 2019, August 6, 2019, September 10, 2019, October 1, 2019, and October 22, 2019 the Board adopted Resolution Nos. 18-113, 18-127, 18-136, 18-147, 18-162, 18-178, 18-196, 19-005, 19-026, 19-030, 19-149, 19-168, 19-191, 19-199, 19-211, 19-221 19-338, 19-357 and 19-364 respectively, reaffirming the existing of the Local Health Emergency.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On July 27, 2018, the Mendocino Complex Fire started and threatened public safety communications systems and caused a condition of extreme peril to life and property in Mendocino County.
