SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
November 11, 2019, is nationally recognized as Veterans Day, providing an opportunity to recognize and show appreciation, gratitude and respect for the contributions and sacrifices veterans and their families have made for our Country. Mendocino County is home to approximately six thousand veterans who served in the Armed Forces. In honor of all veterans, the Mendocino County Health and Human Services, Adult and Aging Services, Veterans Service Office is requesting that the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors proclaim November 11, 2019, as Veterans Appreciation Day in Mendocino County.
