Summary of Request

The State Homeland Security Grant is pass-through funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the State of California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and down to the individual Operational Areas.  Funding is used to support state, tribal, territorial, and local preparedness activities that address high priority preparedness gaps across all core capabilities that support terrorism preparedness. The grant requires a certified copy of the Board of Supervisors Resolution appointing agents authorized to execute any actions necessary under this Grant with the State Homeland Security Grant application.
