Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

The Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen’s Oversight Committee recommended, and the Board of Supervisors approved purchase of property at 8207 East Road, Redwood Valley for the Regional Behavioral Health Training Facility.  At the October 22, 2019 meeting the Board of Supervisors approved the expenditure of up to $50,000 of Measure B funds to begin improvements to the Regional Behavioral Health Training Facility and to develop plans for the remaining improvements.                     

 

Summary of Request

Direction provided by the Board of Supervisors on October 22, 2019 authorized expenditures of Measure B funds for improvements to the Regional Behavioral Health Training Facility.  This item specifically creates the capital improvement/project in Capital Projects Fund MHTA 1301 Mental Health Treatment Act for the improvements to the Regional Behavioral Health Training Facility, with initial funding of $50,000, and authorizes the Facilities and Fleet Division Manager to act as Project Manager to complete the work including planning, design and general improvements.
