One of the goals of The Board of Supervisors is to significantly upgrade and replace antiquated portions of the telecommunications infrastructure countywide.
Summary of Request:
The North Bay North Coast Broadband Consortium (NBNCBC) is submitting a grant application to the CPUC to provide improved and affordable high-speed internet access. NBNCBC has projects planned for the next three years to serve thousands of Unserved and Non-Served Households in Mendocino County. A letter of support from the Board of Supervisors will strengthen the grant application.

Do not approve letter of support and provide alternative direction.
