Approve second Amendment to Agreement No. PH-19-045 with Community Foundation of Mendocino County to increase the amount by $76,850 for a new total amount of $101,850 to provide outreach activities to the hard-to-count populations in Mendocino County for the 2020 Decennial United States Census for the period of December 3, 2019 through December 2, 2020; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On April 1, 2020, the Decennial United States Census will occur. The goal of the census is to count each and every person in the United States. In order to ensure as many people as possible are counted, including those groups who have historically been under-counted, the State of California has made funding available to California counties for this purpose.
