Summary of Request

Department of Transportation (DOT) will prepare and administer construction plans, specifications, estimates and contract documents for Contract Number (No.) 200002, 2020 Corrective/Preventative Maintenance Project on various County Maintained Roads up to an estimated $5,500,000, depending on available funds.  This project will be to preserve up to 22.16 miles of road surfaces within the Mendocino County Maintained Road System, at an estimated average cost of $248,200.00 per mile when completed.  The roads are Flynn Creek Road, County Road (CR) 135, from milepost (M.P.) 0.00 to M.P. 8.97, Albion Little River Road, CR 403, from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 3.19, Comptche Ukiah Road, CR 223, from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 10.00. This project is to be funded through Senate Bill 1 (SB 1): The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, and Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds.  The Department will not exceed funding available.
