Summary of Request:
Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) has since 1984 operated a helicopter landing facility, designated as an “emergency medical services (EMS) landing site,” at its clinic at 46900 Ocean Drive in Gualala. RCMS requests the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors’ approval, as required by California’s PUC Article 3 Section 21661.5, to upgrade and convert the EMS landing site to a permitted heliport, before submitting application packages to other agencies.
