Approve retroactive Agreement with County of Santa Cruz in an amount not to exceed $5,000 to perform host entity duties for County-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities and Targeted Case Management for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Counties are eligible to receive federal reimbursement for County-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) and Targeted Case Management (TCM) if they participate in the Local Government Agency Consortium. The Consortium coordinates administration of MAA activities (which include conducting Medi-Cal outreach, facilitating eligibility determinations, Medi-Cal program planning, MAA coordinating, and administrating claims and training) and TCM for the Department of Health Care Services. Santa Cruz County currently serves as host entity for the Consortium solely for the purpose of collecting and disbursing funds for the Consortium trust fund. Mendocino County's maximum fee for participating in the Consortium is $5,000, which is dependent upon reimbursement received from the previous year.
