SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Eel River Recovery Project has been working in Northern Mendocino County on important environmental projects. These projects benefit our communities by reducing the risk of catastrophic fire, improving water supply and water security, increasing Pacific salmon populations, and improving community resilience to climate change. The grant will also provide a path towards good jobs in environmental stewardship. Overall, these projects will benefit the community environmentally and economically.
