Adopt Resolution Approving the Amendment to CSAC Excess Insurance Authority Joint Powers Agreement Changing the Name from the CSAC Excess Insurance Authority to Public Risk Innovations, Solutions and Management (PRISM) and Authorize the County's designated Primary and/or Alternate CSAC Excess Insurance Authority Board member to execute the proposed amendment to the CSAC Excess Insurance Authority Joint Powers Agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

The County of Mendocino has participated in the CSAC Excess Insurance Authority Joint Powers Agreement since 1979. Amendments to the CSAC Excess Insurance Authority Joint Powers Agreement have occurred in 1980, 1987, 1988, 1993, 1996 and 2005.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
CSAC Excess Insurance Authority (EIA) was formed by and for the California counties in 1979 by the California State Association of Counties (CSAC).
