SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
AAA Northern California, Nevada, and Utah's, Child Passenger Safety Donation Program has funds available for County use. Mendocino County, Health and Human Services Agency submitted the AAA Donation Application on February 25, 2020. If awarded, funds will be used to purchase child safety seats and booster seats. These seats will be distributed by December 18, 2020 by a County employed SafeKids USA Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. Seats will be distributed to low-income families in Mendocino County; distribution will be monitored by the Mendocino County Car Seat Safety Program.
