SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The County conducted a Request for Proposal process in June 2018 and selected LACO Associates as the contracted recovery grant research and grant writing firm. LACO Associates has been working with the County to identify potential recovery projects, research available grant programs, and prepare grant applications to secure funding for recovery services for all County departments.

The grant writing team at LACO Associates has assisted the County to secure over $4 million in disaster recovery grant funding and over $9.5 million of funding for projects that are still pending award. With the COVID-19 pandemic, LACO Associates is currently supporting the County with preparing for the COVID-19 Emergency Response Grant (CERG) through the County Medical Service Programs (CMSP) while aggressively searching for other grant opportunities to leverage the County's response costs.
