Approve the Agreement with Taylor Code Consulting, Inc. for the Period of July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020, to provide ongoing Code Enforcement Services, training and staff development of policies and procedures, etc. and assistance with Cannabis Regulations Enforcement, for a total Agreement amount of $75,000; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request

Mendocino County Planning and Building Services (PBS) has had several approved agreements, listed above, with Taylor Code Consulting, Inc.  At this time PBS is requesting a new 6 month agreement in order to complete an updated RFP for services.  This current agreement with Taylor Code Consulting, Inc. will provide Code Enforcement Division training, policy and procedure development, compliance with enforcement practices, record keeping and retention practices, teambuilding, safety practices, etc. And includes continued enforcement work the cannabis program and fire/disaster services, and/or other services as requested by the Department.
