Approve Agreement with Redwood Community Services DBA Redwood Community Crisis Center in the Amount of $90,030 to provide emergency crisis services and outreach to children and young adults in Mendocino County, effective July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, requests Board approval of the Agreement with Redwood Community Crisis Center ("RC3") in the amount of $90,030 for Fiscal Year 20-21 to provide 24/7 crisis response, Outreach and Engagement, to the children, youth, and young adults in Mendocino County who are experiencing crisis episodes. When applicable, services are funded through Medi-Cal and/or Mental Health Services Act Community Services and Supports (MHSA CSS). Many times, youth may be uninsured, and unable to apply for Medi-Cal due to immigration issues, etc. Redwood Community Crisis Center serves all of these youth, regardless of ability to pay.
