Summary of Request

CA AB-101 Housing Development and Financing of 2019-2020 authorized a $650 million one-time block grant that provides local jurisdictions with funds to support regional coordination and expand or develop local capacity to address immediate homelessness challenges. The Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency (BCSH) notified Mendocino County that the Mendocino County Homeless Services Continuum of Care (MCHSCoC) received an allocation of $924,734.12 for services to persons experiencing homelessness. The original deadline to return Standard Agreement documents to BCSH was May 15, 2020, but was extended to May 29, 2020. On May 19, 2020, Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) signed the Standard Agreement as the Administrative Entity for MCHSCoC and sent it to BCSH for final execution. HHSA requests Board ratification of submission of the Standard Agreement with BCSH in the amount of $924,734.12.
