Approve retroactive Agreement with Friends of the Round Valley Public Library in the amount of $1,952 to provide for use of the Community Room by the Public Health, Women, Infants and Children program, effective July 1, 2019 through September 30, 2021; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not exceed the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Women, Infants, and Children program (WIC) has contracted with Friends of the Round Valley Public Library for use of the Community Room for WIC services since 2016. Due to Public Health Branch staff turnover, and the need to focus on other pressing matters including WIC card implementation, renewal of the contract with Friends of the Round Valley Public Library was overlooked. The Health and Human Services Agency therefore requests retroactive approval of the proposed Agreement to reimburse for Fiscal Year 2019-20 fees and to allow continued use of the room through Fiscal Year 2020-21.
