RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approval to allocate $350,000 per year over a four year period of Measure B service funds to a contracted agency to provide community education, awareness, and support services, as recommended by the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen's Oversight Committee; authorize the Behavioral Health Director to award and sign contract and any amendments that do not increase the maximum contract amount; and authorize chair to sign same.

On July 22, 2020, a motion was passed at the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen's Oversight Committee Measure B meeting to recommend to the Board of Supervisors to allocate $350,000 per year over a four year period of Measure B service funds to provide community education, awareness, and support services and to authorize the Behavioral Health Director to award and sign contract.
