Approve allocation of $340,000 per year over a four year period of Measure B service funds to fund three Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist positions for a pilot mobile crisis program in partnership with local law enforcement to be reviewed every six months by Measure B, as recommended by the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen’s Oversight Committee.

Summary of Request

On July 22, 2020, a motion was passed at the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen’s Oversight Committee Measure B meeting to recommend to the Board of Supervisors to allocate $340,000 per year over a four year period of Measure B service funds to fund three Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist positions for a pilot mobile crisis program in partnership with local law enforcement to be reviewed every six months by Measure B.
