The Board of Supervisors authorized the utilization of outside counsel on this litigation in closed session on September 10, 2019.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The County entered into a $50,000 Purchasing Agent Agreement with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW) for litigation services for Howe v. County of Mendocino on May 12, 2020. Billable services are anticipated to exceed the amount of the agreement so an increase is being requested to cover continuing costs.
