Accept presentation, adopt Resolution approving a revised Mendocino County Local Equity Program Manual and authorizing the CEO to execute the grant agreement and related documents including extensions or amendments; authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On February 4, 2020 the Board approved an allocation of $25,000 for a Cannabis Equity Assessment; and directed staff to utilize the California Center for Rural Policy at Humboldt State University to complete Cannabis Equity Assessment; to draft Resolution establishing Cannabis Equity Program contingent upon State funding; to submit a Cannabis Equity Application; and return to the Board of Supervisors for approval and adoption in time for submission by February 28, 2020.
On February 25, 2020, the Board adopted Resolution No. 20-020 which approved the Mendocino County Cannabis Equity Assessment; adopted the Mendocino County Local Equity Program and Program Manual and authorized Chair to sign same; authorized the Chief Executive Officer or designee to revise as deemed appropriate and submit a grant application to the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development for purposes of funding the Mendocino County Local Equity Program; and allocated one-hundred thousand dollars (...
