Deny Rezoning R_2019-0009 - Redwood Valley/West Road District which proposed to add a Cannabis Accommodation (CA) Combining District for fourteen (14) legal parcels, totaling 27.03? Acres to parcels currently zoned Rural Residential (RR), finding that impacts of commercial cannabis operations, including but not limited to aesthetics, noise, smell, and traffic, are inconsistent with the residential character of the neighborhood of the parcels of the requested rezone, making the proposed rezoning contrary to the general welfare of the County.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
Adoption of Ordinance No. 4420 on December 4, 2018, making amendments to Chapters 10A.17 and 20.242 as well as adding Chapters 20.118 and 20.119 to County Code. On November 3, 2020, the Board of Supervisors held a noticed public hearing and took a tentative vote to deny Rezoning R_2019-0009 and directed staff to return to the Board of Supervisors with a tentative motion for denial of the Project.
