Approve retroactive Agreement with Esther Siegel, LMFT in the amount of $5,000 to provide mental health therapy services not covered by Medi-Cal or other insurance for court-ordered clients of Health and Human Services Agency, Family and Children's Services, effective July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021; authorize Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not exceed the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Esther Siegel has been providing therapy services not covered by Medi-Cal or other insurance to specific Family and Children's Services clients as part of their court-ordered case plans to support reunification of children in foster care to their families. Ms. Siegel provides individual and family counseling sessions and completes progress reports which are used by the social worker to update the court on the client's progress and readiness for reunification and/or case closure.
