Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
By Resolution Number (No.) 12-098 (July 10, 2012), Board of Supervisors (BOS) authorized Department of Transportation (DOT) to enter into BOS Agreement No. 12-079/DOT Agreement No. 110123 with Willdan Engineering to design the replacement of the Mattole River Bridge on Briceland Road. By Resolution No. 18-184 (December 4, 2018), BOS authorized Amendment No. 3 to extend the expiration date and authorized an additional $64,762 for additional geotechnical services and environmental studies required by Caltrans.
Summary of Request:
Amendment No. 4 provides for $56,917 in additional funds needed to complete additional design options for the road and roadway, and to complete additional environmental studies related to additional staging areas outside of the State Park. The costs of replacement of this bridge are anticipated to be paid for by the Federal Highway Administration Highway Bridge Program (FHWA HBP) and Toll Credits.

Postpone approval of Amendment No. 4 to BOS Agreement No. 12-079/DOT Agreement No. 110123.
