Approve retroactive Amendment to BOS Agreement No. 19-178 with Redwood Community Services, Inc. increasing the amount by $297,385 for a new total of $907,705, to provide immediate placement services for children placed by Health and Human Services Agency, Family and Children's Services, effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Assistant Director to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In Mendocino County, the placement and care of children who have been removed from the custody of their parents or guardians under Welfare and Institutions Code Section 300 is the responsibility of the Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), Family and Children's Services (FCS). As part of meeting this requirement, FCS contracts with Redwood Community Services, Inc. (RCS) for the provision of emergency foster home placement services to high needs youth in Mendocino County.
