SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Child Care Planning Council needs the Board of Supervisors to approve the bylaw changes and annual Certification Statement. Mendocino County Office of Education has requested several changes to the Child Care by-laws. The Board of Supervisors approval is needed for state compliance with the California Department of Education. Bylaw changes include 1. Changes name of the committee to "Mendocino County Child Care and Development Local Planning Council" 2. Allows for voting protocol in virtual meetings 3. Changes the Chairperson/Vice-Chairperson structure to Co-Chairpersons and 4. Changes CCPC committee members from appointments by the co-Chairpersons to voluntary participation.
