Summary of Request:
AAA Northern California, Nevada, and Utah’s Child Passenger Safety Donation Program has funds available for Mendocino County to purchase child safety seats. These seats will be distributed by Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) staff who hold Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification through SafeKids USA. Seats will be distributed to low-income families in Mendocino County; distribution will be monitored by the Mendocino County Car Seat Safety Program.
HHSA submitted the AAA Donation Application on December 28, 2020. Donation request decisions are anticipated to be released by March 14, 2021, and, if awarded funds, HHSA must submit the Revenue Agreement by April 16, 2021.
