Summary of Request:
A request for an Administrative Coastal Development Permit to process an after-the-fact remodel and expansion of a legal non-conforming second residential unit by 80± square feet. Additionally, the request includes phased-construction of a multi-story garage (576 sq. ft.) with an upstairs ‘Game Room’. The project was administratively approved by the Coastal Permit Administrator (CPA) on February 22, 2021 and requires the Board of Supervisors authorization for issuance of the permit. The CPA staff report is attached for review.
Alternative Action/Motion:
That the Coastal Development Permit CDP_2020-0016 (Garrett), be scheduled for a public hearing and processed pursuant to Mendocino County Code Section 20.536.005.
