Summary of Request

Department of Transportation will prepare and administer construction plans, specifications, estimates and contract documents for Contract Number (No.) 200098, 2021 Corrective/Preventative Maintenance Project on Orr Springs Road at an Estimated Cost of $4,000,000, depending on available funds.  This project will be to preserve up to 12.86 miles of road surfaces within the Mendocino County Maintained Road System, at an estimated average cost of $272,162.00 per mile when completed, on Orr Springs Road, County Road 223, from milepost (M.P.) 24.25 to M.P. 37.11. This project is to be funded through Senate Bill 1 (SB 1): The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, and Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds.  The Department will not exceed funding available.

Postpone the needed pavement preservation.
